Chelidonura inornata

sub-classs Opisthobranchia > order Cephalaspidea > family Aglajidae

Chelidonura inornata  has a cylindrical black body. Two large, white spotted, white edged parapodia fold over the top of the body. There is an asymetrical pair of pointed tails, the left being longer than the right. There is a yellow-orange band on the head. These animals have a very small internal shell. Members of this family feed on invertebrates, paricularly worms and molluscs.

Distribution =  western Pacific
Max size =  at least 40mm
