Chromodoris splendida (Angas, 1864)

sub-classs Opisthobranchia > order Nudibranchia > sub-order Doridina > family Chromodorididae

Chromodoris splendida is white with a yellow band around the mantle. It has red rhinophore clubs, and its gills are white with red lines. Locally and further north they have one or two large red spots on their backs. In southern regions they may have several smaler ones.

Distribution = [] Southern NSW to Mooloolaba, Qld.
Max size =  to 50mm, usually less than 30mm
